This intermediate course focuses on applying essential fetal heart rate monitoring theory and skills in intrapartum practice. Participants must attend both days.
The course builds on the knowledge and skills of experienced nurses. It is designed for registered nurses with a minimum of six months clinical nursing experience using fetal heart rate monitoring technology in an intrapartum setting.
LPNs and LVNs may attend this course for educational development purposes. LPNs receive contact hours and may elect to participate in the skills stations as a learning experience.
Successful completion of this course is a prerequisite for participation in the Advanced Course.Click here for full brochure details.

Includes continental breakfast and lunch both days, nursing contact hours, participant packet and a copy of the “Fetal Heart Monitoring Principles and Practices” (FIFTH Edition) textbook.
Participants must read the text prior to the course and bring the text to the workshop. The text will be mailed to participants upon receipt of payment.No additional materials are necessary to purchase for this course.
