Event description:

Goal:  The goal of this program is to develop, maintain, and improve the competence and skills of nurses and other healthcare professionals regarding the Zika virus.

Outcomes:

1.  Provide current evidence-based information about the Zika virus to consumers and other healthcare professionals to prevent infection.

2.  To identify populations at risk for infection with the Zika virus and initiate proper surveillance

This conference has been awarded 5.0 nursing contact hours from Central Jersey Family Health Consortium.

Central Jersey Family Health Consortium is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the New Jersey State Nuses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Provider number P92-8/14-17.  Provider approval is valid through August 31, 2017.

Nurisng contact hours are provided at the end of the program.  In order to receive a certificate, you must sign in, attend the entire program, and complete an evaluation form.
