Substance Use Disorder and Maternal and Fetal Effects – Zoom Webinar

Please join Debbie Riscica, BS, OTR, CADC, WTS, CTTS – CJFHC’s Perinatal Risk Reduction Coordinator, as she presents an overview of substance use as it relates to maternal and fetal implications during pregnancy. In addition to discussing opioid, marijuana, alcohol, and tobacco use, she will also describe the benefits of MAT during pregnancy and need for continued follow-up.
Target audience: maternal-child health nurses, and those working with birthing people and their families.
Outcome: At the conclusion of the educational activity, participants will demonstrate knowledge of maternal and fetal implications of substance use disorders by passing a post-tet with a score of at least 80%.
To earn 1.5 nursing contact hours, you will need to register, view the entire webinar, complete an online post-test with a minimum score of 80% and complete an online evaluation.
