Every day, social workers around the world play a vital role in supporting people and families. At Central Jersey Family Health Consortium, we have social workers in almost every program, dedicating their work to supporting families through pregnancy, early childhood and beyond.
Each year, the month of March is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the work they do. This year’s theme, “Uplift. Defend. Transform.” – hits especially close to home at Central Jersey Family Health Consortium, because our social workers on staff go far beyond connecting people to services—they uplift families by providing compassionate support and services, defend communities through advocacy and outreach, and through this have transformed outcomes for hundreds of families in New Jersey.
In maternal and family health, social workers do far more than provide support and advocacy. They help strengthen and shape the systems that families rely on, working to ensure that parents and caregivers have access to the resources, services, and coordinated support needed to build healthy, stable foundations for their children.
During Social Work Month, we celebrate the dedication, compassion, and expertise of the social workers on our staff. Their work makes a meaningful difference every day—helping families feel supported, connected, and empowered as they navigate pregnancy, parenthood and early childhood.
Thank you to our social workers for the incredible impact you make in the lives of families and communities.
