The SIDS Center of New Jersey invites parents, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and community members to attend a free interactive webinar focused on safe infant sleep practices for babies from birth through the first year of life. Based on the latest recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), this educational session will provide important information to help families create safer sleep environments and reduce the risk of sleep-related infant deaths.
Participants will learn about:
- Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)
- Current AAP recommendations for safe infant sleep
- Infant sleep products recommended for safer sleep
- Ways to reduce the risk of sleep-related deaths during infancy
The webinar will be presented by Ariana Nuñez-Restituyo, MPH, and will be offered in both English and Spanish.
