The NJ Supports Breastfeeding Initiative, part of the New Jersey Breastfeeding Strategic Plan, is proud to bring a new virtual resource for professionals and New Jersey based employers focusing on understanding lactation workplace rights.
The virtual training will launch on August 20, 2026, with a special kick-off event, “Making It Work Together: Supporting Breastfeeding in the Workplace Video Launch & Conversation,” from 12:00 PM to 1:00PM. It will include special guest Jill Wodnick, MA, LCCE, IMH-E®(II).
The virtual training video will be available afterward as an employer resource on the NJ Supports Breastfeeding website.
Anyone who operates a business in New Jersey, employs New Jersey residents, or works with pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding families in New Jersey are invited to join the conversation during the event and share their workplace solutions to the challenges in supporting lactating employees.
