What is PAPP?
The Perinatal Addiction Prevention Program (PAPP) is dedicated to supporting pregnant individuals who are managing substance use concerns and the professionals who treat and support them. By focusing on the 4Ps Plus—the only validated behavioral health screening instrument designed specifically for pregnant women at risk for domestic violence, alcohol, tobacco, prescription or illicit drug use, and depression—we ensure comprehensive access to resources addressing all biopsychosocial needs and challenges of treating addiction in pregnancy. PAPP is funded by the Department of Health and operates through three consortia across Northern, Central, and Southern New Jersey.
