CEO Robyn D'Oria Highlights Community Focus at Florida’s PROMPT Initiative Kickoff

FPQC's Prompt Kick Off

On October 23, 2024, CJFHC CEO Robyn D’Oria joined maternal health professionals from across Florida for the kickoff of the Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative's PROMPT Initiative—Pregnancy-Related Optimal Management of Hypertension. The initiative focuses on reducing maternal morbidity and mortality related to hypertension, a major cause of complications in pregnancy and childbirth.

CEO Robyn D’Oria delivered a compelling address, titled “Can We Change the Outcome? AIM HTN Bundle Pearls: Including the Patient and Community Partners.” Her talk emphasized that the path to better maternal health lies not only in clinical intervention but also in strengthening connections with community partners. Engaging with communities and integrating patient voices are essential for impactful changes in maternal health outcomes, helping to ensure the safety and well-being of mothers throughout the state.

The PROMPT Initiative’s launch is a significant step forward in addressing pregnancy-related hypertension in Florida and signals an inspiring commitment to maternal wellness, patient care, and state-wide collaboration for lasting change.
