Central Jersey Family Health Consortium held its all-staff meeting on November 8, 2024, at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Bridgewater, NJ. The Consortium aims to have two of these meetings every year, with the goal of strengthening staff bonds, encouraging internal networking, and giving all programs a chance to share their goals, successes, and stories. The last all-staff meeting took place in June 2024, and gave all of the Consortium programs a chance to present their program highlights from the previous year, and give updates on their current services and opportunities.
The November meeting focused on giving programs a chance to network and build cross-program relations, and for leadership to provide important company updates.
The Data, Evaluation and Analytics team’s Lauren Manley also gave a presentation detailing the teams successful second place win in the National Institute of Health’s three phase challenge, Connecting The Community for Maternal Health Using a national dataset that includes over 1 million births, the Evaluation & Analytics team developed an algorithm designed to predict the risk of severe pregnancy-related complications based on pre-pregnancy medical records and social determinant of health data. Lauren announced that with their current research, the team plans to apply for additional funding to expand their model.
Several staff celebrated 5, 10, 15- and 20-year anniversaries, and several staff won raffle prizes for various gift cards.
The November 2024 All-Staff meeting provided an excellent opportunity for networking, relationship building, and reaffirming the Consortium’s mission of providing an equitable and healthy future for Central New Jersey families.
