CJFHC Staff Joins Board of Trustees at the New Jersey Breastfeeding Coalition

Noelle Tongue, BA, IMH-E, Community Health Educator, New Jersey Postpartum Resources and Support Network (NJPRSN)

Central Jersey Family Health Consortium proud to announce that a valued member of our CJFHC team, Noelle Tongue, BA, IMH-E, Community Health Educator, New Jersey Postpartum Resources and Support Network (NJPRSN) has been appointed to the Board of Trustees at the New Jersey Breastfeeding Coalition (NJBC). This exciting appointment reflects her deep commitment to promoting equitable, inclusive, and culturally responsive breastfeeding support across New Jersey.

Her journey with NJBC began as a member, driven by a personal breastfeeding experience and a passion to ensure all lactating individuals have access to the education, tools, and encouragement needed to meet their feeding goals.

“As a maternal mental health advocate and mom, I’ve witnessed how systemic and cultural barriers impact a parent’s ability to meet their feeding goals,” Noelle shared. “I wanted to be part of a team that actively works to remove those barriers and uplifts the voices of families who are often left out of the conversation.”

As a board member, Noelle aims to bring a strong lens of equity, emotional wellness, and community engagement to the table. “I hope to help the NJBC to continue building a learning-centered, inclusive environment where all New Jersey families feel seen, supported, and heard.”

We look forward to seeing Noelle’s impact on the Board of Trustees at the New Jersey Breastfeeding Coalition, eliminating disparities and building stronger foundations for breastfeeding success in our state.

Noelle, we are so proud of you and the work you continue to do for maternal health and wellness in New Jersey!
