For the second consecutive year, CJFHC has been honored to receive an incredible donation of over 5,000 diapers through the L.A.M.B.S. (Links Aiding Moms to be Strong) Diaper Drive. The drive, spearheaded by the Central New Jersey Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, in collaboration with the March of Dimes, stands as a beacon of service, community solidarity and support for families in need.

The Links, Incorporated, established in 1946, is an international not-for-profit organization comprising over 17,000 professional women of African descent across the United States, the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom. With a steadfast commitment to public service, The Links are dedicated to uplifting and sustaining the cultural and economic well-being of African Americans and individuals of African descent. The Central New Jersey Chapter of The Links, Incorporated was organized in May 1949, at the Princeton, N.J. home of Link Sadie Dickerson.

Through the L.A.M.B.S. Diaper Drive, The Links and the March of Dimes exemplify the power of collective action and the profound impact of service to the community. The donation of diapers is not merely a material gift; it symbolizes a tangible expression of care and support for families. Diapers, a basic necessity for infants, can often pose a significant burden for struggling families. By alleviating this burden, the L.A.M.B.S. Diaper Drive extends a helping hand to parents, enabling them to provide essential care for their children without undue stress or worry. The drive also serves to raise awareness around critical issues surrounding maternal and infant health.

CJFHC is immensely grateful for the support of The Links and the March of Dimes, whose partnership has enriched our mission of promoting maternal and child health in Central New Jersey. This donation not only fulfills an immediate need within our communities but also embodies the spirit of collaboration and compassion that defines our collective efforts to empower families and nurture healthy futures.

As we express our heartfelt gratitude to The Links, Incorporated, and the March of Dimes, we also extend our appreciation to the countless individuals who contributed to the success of the L.A.M.B.S. Diaper Drive. Your generosity has made a tangible difference in the lives of families in need, reaffirming our belief in the power of community and collective action to create positive change.
