AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring Course

AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring Course
The Advanced Fetal Monitoring course expands on the knowledge and physiological principles presented in the AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course. This course uses a case scenario approach to focus on the analysis of maternal-fetal physiology related to complex clinical information and fetal heart rate tracings. This course emphasizes the physiology of fetal-maternal oxygenation, the interpretation of tracings, the selection of clinical interventions, and perinatal risk-management principles. There is a recommended renewal date every two years for the Advanced Fetal Monitoring Course.
Learing Outcomes:
* Describe the physiologic principals of the pregnant patient's and fetus' oxygen transfer as they apply to principles of fetal heart monitoring
* Appraise the fetal response to the pregnant patient's pathological and physiological adaptations during the labor process
Cost:
Please note that there are two fees associated with registering for this course: the instructor fee and the AWHONNN registration fee noted below.
* AWHONN Registration Fee - $120.00 - Advanced Participant Materials with unique Participant ID to access online knowledge integration test is included with the purchase of materials through Kendall Hunt. Course ID number is required with purchase.
