Connecting NJ, a program at CJFHC, is committed to enhancing the quality of life for pregnant individuals, parents, and caregivers with young children of all backgrounds. Connecting NJ’s Resource Specialists act as bridges, linking families to free or low-cost supportive wellness resources tailored to their specific needs, including assistance with health insurance, breastfeeding and lactation help, housing, childcare, and educational information on prenatal health and parenting. Additionally, Connecting N’s Early Childhood Specialist Team provides invaluable support during the critical first five years of a child's life, offering guidance and tools to promote healthy development. Families can easily connect with an Early Childhood Specialist by completing the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3) at home, allowing them to assess their child's development and identify areas where support may be needed.
