Breastfeeding is a journey filled with love, bonding, and challenges. Every parent deserves the support and knowledge to breastfeed successfully. Connecting NJ is excited to invite you to a virtual workshop, “Let’s Breastfeed Together”, on January 31, 2025 from 11AM – 12PM. 

This session is for expecting parents and parents of newborns who want to learn more about breastfeeding, the role of equity in access to resources, their rights to resources, and how to overcome common challenges like setting up feeding schedules, pumping at work or on the go, and more.  

Equity Matters 

Breastfeeding outcomes are not the same for everyone. Access to resources, cultural norms, and systemic barriers create inequities and impact parents’ ability to breastfeed successfully. This workshop will address these disparities and provide tools and resources to advocate for yourself and others in your community.
