What is Early Intervention (EI) Week?

Early Intervention (EI) Week is a time dedicated to raising awareness about the vital role early intervention plays in supporting the development of children with special needs.

6:00PM: Transition out of EI
NJEIS Family Support Coordinators offer a comprehensive planning handbook, step-by-step guidance on transitioning to the school system, and answers to common questions, all aimed at alleviating stress to help you plan for the next steps as your child either ages out or no longer qualifies for EI. This will help you understand your options for further services, navigating referrals to the Public School District, and deciphering acronyms like IEP and LRE is important.
